Specialty Silicas Precipitated silica is used in various applications such as rubber, paints, inks and coatings, agriculture, oral care and other industries. Years of research and experience allow DSI developing precipitated silica with high dispersive ability. Our flexible manufacturing process enables to create silica products with adjusted characteristics to fit customers' needs and requirements. Precipitated silica’s  largest application is in tires. In recent years, tests have shown that tires filled with silica offer improved fuel efficiency by reducing rolling resistance. Silica fillers also improve wear resistance and prevent skidding. These tires not only serve filler-reinforcing roles, but also contribute to the reduction of environmental loads. We plan to manufacture precipitated silica specially designed for tires under the DIMOSIL trademark. DSI features an innovative approach producing specialty silicas for application in different parts of a tire: treads, sidewalls, carcass and wire belts. When it comes to improved tire performance, our line of precipitated silicas strengthens mechanical properties of all types of tires: green tires, winter tires, truck tires, etc. We produce silicas with adjusted characteristics such as high dispersion ability, high surface reactive ability, low surface but high dispersion ability, conventional silica, as well as other grades for various industries.
